BEE in Manchester and spread the word of Peace Mala

During the Summer holidays, Manchester has been hosting the biggest ever Public Art Trail called “Bee in the City” and we are proud to announce that St Agnes’ Primary School is part of this trail.

In the Summer term, we ran a design competition within school and own winning design came from Zymal in Year 5 who is one of our Peace Mala Ambassador, who shares message of peace around our school. Zymal’s design is truly inspiring and shows the spirit of our school as we take our journey into becoming a Peace Mala School. Take a look for yourself at her original design entry.

The impact and importance of the Peace Mala values are evident in her work. The finished Bee has been placed within Longsight Library, so you can go and have a closer look yourself if you live in Manchester.

You can also this summer complete the Bee in the city trail if you would like to visit Manchester over the Summer. Could you BEE a champion? If so, download the Trail Map below or collect one from one of the venues in the city centre and getting snapping.

Join in the fun and BEE proactive in spreading the message of Peace Mala whilst you on your hunt for the rest of the Bees in the city.
