On June 21, 2004 the BBC Radio Wales programme Mixing It broadcast an interview with Pam Evans, Amy Rees and Paul Rousselle.

Peace Mala was contacted by Radio Wales in view of growing incidents of Islamaphobia and racism, having heard of the good work being carried out by Peace Mala. They were particularly impressed with the Childline Cymru Anti-Bullying award and the CEWC Cymru award for human rights in schools, which Peace Mala had received.

They felt it was time to hear directly from the creator of Peace Mala and some of the young people involved in the project. The interview was carried out by Alpa Patell and produced by Pippa Rogers.
