Peace Mala Endorsement
Award Winning Welsh Designer Jeweller
As a jeweller, I, along with Nicola Palterman, was delighted to be approached by Pam Evans, who wished to create a bespoke version of her iconic Peace Mala bracelets. We were very honoured to be part of a project that signifies religious tolerance and peace for humanity; a worthwhile and very moving concept.
We tried to remain faithful to the original design and it was a challenge to interpret and construct it in precious metal but we were thrilled with the final version of a torque bangle design as it is a contemporary and timeless piece of jewellery suitable for men and women of ages.
Both of us wish Pam and her team every success and good wishes.

Today the Bespoke Peace Mala is made by Mari Thomas in her gallery and workshop in the beautiful town of Llandeilo.
The Bespoke Peace Mala
This exquisite version of the Peace Mala, designed and produced exclusively for us by Mari, is made in solid sterling silver with the beads rotating to reveal carved symbols representing the various faiths incorporated in the original Peace Mala.
It is unisex in design and therefore suitable as a special gift for all occasions, or indeed for oneself.
The Bespoke Peace Mala was launched by the international rock singer, Bonnie Tyler, at Peace Mala H.Q. in Swansea, Wales, UK on Tuesday 8th November 2005.
Money generated from the sale of Bespoke Peace Malas is put into the Peace Mala Educational Project for World Peace.
