PEACE MALA and GWYL PONTARDAWE FESTIVAL are joining forces to celebrate the principles of friendship, peace and respect that the music we hear on stage embraces.
The Swansea-based PEACE MALA organisation was established in the wake of the attack on New York’s World Trade Centre five years ago.
It has won the backing of many of the world’s religious leaders, including the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Wales’ own Rowan Williams.
PEACE MALA will be at Festival this year to promote tolerance, human rights and greater understanding between faith communities through presentations, performances and workshops.
